I thought I had deleted your email address but have recently come across it and wanted to take a couple of minutes to drop a line following the appointment I had with Madeleine Butler on 21 March 2019 for a disabled travel pass.
I wished to extend my sincere thanks to Madeleine for making me feel so relaxed on the day; so much so that the experience of being assessed didn’t feel quite so nerve wracking as I expected it to be.
Approximately two weeks or so later, I received notification that I have been granted the pass on a permanent basis. This means that going forward, I will telephone a few weeks to the expiry of my pass, in order to acquire a replacement.
Knowing that I will not have to be assessed every few years for a travel pass is a relief and one for which my greatest thanks to Madeleine are extended, as she could obviously see symptoms in myself that many times I am loathe to admit. He patient, tentative manner on the day was most appreciated and I’d be grateful if you could convey my gratitude to her.
